Wow… I feel like I’m just getting off a really fast merry go round ride, you know the playground toys that are hard to find anymore in the states because kids got hurt on them (even though kids can find a way to get hurt on just about anything) anyway, you know the I-Can’t-Walk-Straight fuzzy headed stumble when you get off of a ride of that sort? That how I feel.
December came in like a lazy puppy and went out like a rabid guinea pig. It was good, for the most part, just busy. If you’re a reader of mine you’ve noticed that the blog is the first to go when life gets busy. I’ll work on that in 2012 but it may stay that way for now.
I thought I would recap and include a little bit of December in photos.
At some point we gained a very cute superman
Cousins came to hang out. I didn’t get many photos because of that whole hosting and caring for a infant thing. Oh, and I’ve been trying to put down my camera here and there and just be in the moment. Hubs took this photo of D and his cousin, who are 4 weeks apart in age. Two peas, amIright?
I’ve been hand mixing colors a bit more. There’s some new work in this rad teal/turquoise coming to the shop soon.
Speaking of projects, I made a bunch of Christmas gifts…
A fabulous and one of my oldest friends turned 30! We celebrated with a spa day (she’s pregnant with her first baby so a big party was a little unappealing). This coincided with a house re-organizing project which meant old photos and of course a Facebook birthay photo bomb. We were 20 in this photo and living in North Carolina for the summer.
Speaking of house organization… I got a new studio! It has heat you guys (I mean that’s some for real stuff right there). This photo is an in progress one but that’s the story of my world so we’ll go with it. I need a clean heated studio for all the big things that are ahead for elSage in 2012!
{I should note that we only had time to do the house cleaning stuff because our fridge and washer broke on the same day and then hubs got deathly ill and I was recovering from a cold and in the end we had to miss our Christmas trip with my family. We were super bummed but ended up being productive after everyone was on the mend}

In the last month brother bath time has become a pretty regular thing around here. They love it.
There’s so much more to tell and I will certainly be back. I haven’t quite gotten my feet under me from the merry go round but I’m getting there. You will be hearing from me again very soon.
